What’s new in Version 8:
- Assign housekeeping status and staff. Upon check-in the room status is automatically set to ‘occupied’ and when checking out the status is changed to ‘Needs cleaning’. You will also get a popup window allowing you to assign staff, which can be disabled in the settings area
- Two new restricted access accounts are available; ‘Front Desk’ access allows the user to make and edit reservations only. ‘View Only’ access allows users to look but not touch in most areas of the program, with no access to Settings POS or reports.
- Record Locking prevents reservations to be edited after guests have checked out
- Credit card security now allows the ‘manager’ to view the entire credit card number for 8 days after the checkout date for incidental charges
- A new color code for Conflicts is now available on the availability calendar
- A new print preference for Australia A4 paper size
- Group reservations now list the check-in status of guests in the group
- Invoices now offer personalized messages, larger line item descriptions and multiple page invoices

The new release is sold in single-user and multi-user bundles. A Pro-Pack version for Single Users has been added to provide customers with limited customization to invoice layouts. Multi-user customers receive the Pro Pack by default. FileMaker Server software is required for more than 9 users. Internet access, merchant account and related fees not included.
