The new Zulu plugin for FileMaker server lets you manipulate your FileMaker calendar records from any iCal compliant application, including iCal itself, as well as from the calendars on your iPhone and iPad.

Zulu isn t syncing your data: when you see or edit a record in iCal or on your iPhone or iPad, you re working directly with the FileMaker records on your server. So there are no worries about your data getting out of sync.

You integrate Zulu into your files much as you do our free calendar: paste in a configuration layout, fill it out, define a few required fields and you're ready to go. Zulu installs on FileMaker Server, so it is easy to deploy. And since iCal is talking directly to FileMaker Sever, changes made in iCal, iPhone, or iPad are instantly visible in FileMaker Pro.

There are no scripts to run when you edit records, and no need to try and keep iCal and FileMaker in sync: with Zulu, iCal is reading your FileMaker records from the server, just like FileMaker does. iCal becomes another FileMaker client.

Zulu starts at $299 (USD) for a workgroup license that offers up to 5 calendars to any number of users. Enterprise licenses allow you to publish more calendars, and to integrate with more than one FileMaker file.
