At the FileMaker booth, conference attendees will see live demos of FileMaker Pro 11, including new charting and reporting features to assist teachers, IT coordinators and administrators with managing student information, monitoring school operation, and meeting state and federal reporting requirements. Educational solutions developer Campfire Data will demonstrate its FileMaker Pro-based products for data warehousing, gathering and analyzing student assessment results and tracking pre-kindergarten referral and placement.
Educators at the conference will receive a free 30-day trial DVD of FileMaker Pro 11 (while supplies last), complete with more than 30 Starter Solutions to get up and running quickly.
Conference goers will also see Bento 3, the popular personal database for the Mac, iPhone or iPad that integrates with programs such as Address Book, Mail and iCal. FileMaker will also demonstrate the new Bento 3 Student Survival Kit, available free with a 30-day trial of Bento 3, that helps students organize photos, contacts, lecture notes, projects and events into one easy-to-use database.

* EDS (Educational Data System):

I have been working as a system developer for 12 years, and now have to work thowards filemaker database. I have just one thing to say:
It sucks bigtime!!! What have they thought of? Table instances? What a mess!!! A big "database" in Filemaker will KILL you! A simple change can ruin everything!
Expect this to be deleted - cannot have negative comments about things...
