27th January 2010 - Sitel, a leading global business process outsourcing (BPO) provider, today announced that FileMaker, the brand leader in easy-to-use database software, has selected Sitel to provide customer care and technical support. Support will be given to FileMaker users in 14 countries across Europe from Sitel's Kingston-on-Thames centre. Sitel associates will field licence queries, installation issues, software trouble-shooting and webstore enquiries. In addition to handling calls and emails, the associates will provide assistance via online forums.

In choosing a new contact centre partner, FileMaker required a provider that could support its customers in a multitude of languages with highly technical proficiency. In addition, FileMaker sought to consolidate operations across Europe into one location to improve operational efficiencies. Sitel's Kingston centre offered a skilled multi-lingual talent pool that could expertly meet FileMaker's needs.
