At SmallCo, we're hoping to spread the wealth this month with up to $1000 in awards for brilliant new FileMaker 10 design strategies. Here are the details:

WHY THE ERGONOMIC STIMULUS?

FileMaker Pro 10 is a product with perhaps the most latent potential of any FileMaker revision in history. From the tone of the FileMaker lists, it seems that a lot of folks haven't discovered this yet. We'd like to jump-start a little discovery!

WHAT KIND OF "STIMULUS" IS BEING PROVIDED?

We're giving away US$700 in cash, as well as tuition credits to SmallCo's FileMaker Design Master Class. And we're featuring the best entries at an upcoming FileMaker Design Caucus. More on the Master Class and the Caucus at:

The top three entries each receive a $100 tuition credit to the Master Class, plus:

WHAT ARE THE RULES?

Anyone but SmallCo staff can participate, one entry per person. Design a new feature of an app, using a new feature of FileMaker 10. Explain the app and the new feature in less than 50 words, and demo the feature in no more than 3 screenshots or a demo file under 100k. The app must be intended for an actual client.

Winning entries will be selected for their ingenuity, elegance, and their utility to the client.

The deadline for entries is January 27th at Noon Eastern Time.
