Easy to deploy and manage
PWS is exceptionally fast and easy to deploy. It is offered as a hosted web subscription that links directly from a school's current site. It does not require additional work by school webmasters or web providers. Schools can easily manage PWS through a fully web-based administrative interface. The electronic data transfer to PORTAL is managed automatically through a FileMaker Pro application.

The three services in PWS -- online inquiries, applications, and notifications -- complement each other to provide a comprehensive, web-based solution for managing admissions and enrollment. The online inquiry submission system integrates with a school's current website and PORTAL to check for existing family or inquiry records in PORTAL, allows removal of duplicate or false inquiries, and transfers data to PORTAL without time-consuming data entry. The online applications service provides secure applicant accounts, online application submission, decision posting and online fee and deposit payments. Throughout the admissions season, schools can use the notifications service to inform applicants and their families of process status such as receipt of required forms. In addition, decisions can be published to the web with secure access.

On the web side, a family can create an account that will serve them throughout the application process. Applicants can control the process, logging in multiple times to fine tune applications before submitting them, downloading forms and uploading photos, and monitoring the status of required forms until the application is complete.

On the school side, a user can log in to the web interface to manage forms, view incomplete applications, and assist families with their accounts. For ease of use, the online version of the application mirrors the printed version.

On the database side, the Admission Office manages daily operations through a FileMaker Pro interface, including the timely screening, transfer, and synchronization of electronic data, and management of both inquiries and applications. inRESONANCE processes all fees and deposits, and schools can offer a waiver code to financial aid candidates. The school updates the status of each file in PORTAL as required forms arrive, and the web status can be quickly updated daily. Schools can post decisions online, including downloadable, personalized decision letters.
