2/19/2008 - Seattle, Washington - SolutionMakers, Inc. is proud to announce its spring lineup of FileMaker Training courses being offered in 2008. These classes will enable users of all different levels to learn more about the possibilities that can be achieved and technologies that can be leveraged through the use of FileMaker. When asked about the FileMaker training that SolutionMakers is now offering, President, Laura Bowyer stated "I am really excited about the upcoming training classes from SolutionMakers. This allows us to help grow the FileMaker community and improve up and coming developers' skills along the way. It also gives SolutionMakers the opportunity to offer unique training events such as the Developer Essentials course while cruising the Columbia River taking place in April."

Below is a list of the classes being offered through April 2008. FTS - Developer Essentials (Three Day Class)

Date: 3/19 - 3/21/2008
Location: University of Washington - Bothell Campus
Trainer: Jason Young
Time: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (with one hour lunch)
Price: $1,495

Courses in the Developer Essentials series pertain to detailed exposure to FileMaker relationships, calculations and scripting. Usually each topic will be covered in a full class day but can be consolidated based upon student needs. This can also cover advanced topics integrating relationships, calculations and scripts in a particular need.

FTS - Developer Essentials Cruise onboard the Island Spirit (Three Day Class)

Location: Cruise the Columbia River (Oregon/Washington) onboard the Island Spirit

This is your chance to cruise and tour the Columbia River onboard the Island Spirit while taking the FileMaker Training Series Developer Essentials course. The following is the four day itinerary:

Day 1
Arrive the Island Spirit in Washougal, Wa. by 11:00 AM. Welcome Lunch. Afternoon training and introductions. Late afternoon cruising to St. Helens, Oregon. 5:00 PM cocktail hour and appetizers are served. Dinner is served at 6:30 PM. After dinner, take a stroll in this river front town. Maybe you'll enjoy one of the local spots for an after dinner libation?

Day 2
7am - Breakfast is served - vessel gets underway for Astoria, Or. Training is started after breakfast. Lunch break then training continues to approx. 4:00 PM when vessel docks in Astoria, Or. Enjoy a ride on the Astoria Riverfront Trolley and some narrated information on the area. Hosted Cocktail hour at 5:30 PM. Dinner is served at 6:30 PM.

Day 3
7:00 AM - Breakfast is served - vessel gets underway. Training commences. Enjoy the cruise back upstream. Lunch is served. Potential cruising of the Willamette River and dock in downtown Portland by nightfall. Final evening cocktails and dinner.

Day 4
7:00 AM - Breakfast is served. Guests pack as boat cruises back to Washougal pier. In at 10:00 AM to drop off passengers.
