About eAuthorize 4.0v1
eAuthorize 4.0v1 is WorqSmart's Internet credit card authorization worqhorse for FileMaker Pro. Now rebuilt for compatibility with Intel Mac hardware, eAuthorize sports many new features, such as improved error handling and an improved registration process.

Specific enhancements in this release include:

Case-Sensitivity Removed
The (WqSmt_eA_GetResult; "") function was made case-insensitive to allow easier access within FileMaker to the returned fields in gateway transaction replies. Which eliminates the guesswork and simplifies scripting when you're not sure of the case returned by the payment gateway.

Name Pairs Included
A new field/parameter, "pairs" was added to the (WqSmt_eA_GetResult; "") function. The "pairs" field contains all field names and values separated by commas to aid in troubleshooting and better understanding the gateway transaction replies. Field names are all lower case. The "all" field remains unchanged.

Example File Modified for Name Pairs
The example file was modified to allow developers to easily switch between viewing (WqSmt_eA_GetResult; "all") and (WqSmt_eA_GetResult; "pairs") to better display gateway transaction replies and aid in developer troubleshooting/testing. For example:

(WqSmt_eA_GetResult; "all") returns the somewhat cryptic:
"1,1,1,(TESTMODE) This transaction has been approved.,000000,P,0,,,22.00,CC,auth_only,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,53F2C0857BCB9D6C385B7FA005189E9B,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"

(WqSmt_eA_GetResult; "pairs") returns the more discernable:

Example File Modified for Card Present Functionality
The example file was also modified to demonstrate and allow easy testing of Authorize.net Card-Present merchant accounts. The API's and payment gateway URL's for Card-Present accounts and Card-Not-Present accounts are quite different. Many Authorize.net Card-Not-Present merchant account holders are making the switch to a Card-Present merchant account to reduce costs by taking advantage of the lower transaction rates.
