FMPasteboard is a FileMaker plug-in for storing and changing FileMaker pasteboard objects of your FileMaker 8 Pro Advanced databases. You can copy and paste layout-objects, tables, fields and scripts in one go as editable XML text. This makes FMPasteboard to an essential plug-in for FileMaker developers.

With the use of FMPasteboard you can assemble your own library of often needed FileMaker layout objects (like buttons, logos, etc. ) or tables, fields and scripts. This library is also useful in a FileMaker network for teamwork development. The development of new projects is much easier this way.

The objects from FMPasteboard are all in an editable XML format. For example: if you migrate a solution from FileMaker 6 to FileMaker 8 you can copy all layout objects and the tables from different files into one. With the help from FMPasteboard you are able to change table- and field-names in one step - also in your scripts! Or you want to change from an old-style plugin to a new one: find & replace the plugin calls in one step!

This plugin was developed in a cooperation between Quart-EDV on the Mac side and schubec on Windows. Both plug-ins have the same functions.
