Popular FileMaker™ Pro plug-in now updated to include password support for .Zip files and archive contents

PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 5, 2004 – Sitecraft, Inc., has announced an upgrade of its Archive Toolbox 2.0 plug-in that enables programmers to create and expand archives using FileMaker Pro.

The upgraded Archive Toolbox 2.0 plug-in now supports cross-platform password encryption for StuffIt (.sit) and Zip (.zip) files. Archive Toolbox 2.0 also provides support for BinHex (.hqx) and MacBinary (.bin) encoding and decoding.

Archive Toolbox 2.0 also now provides full access to the contents of an archive. Archive access includes content listing, add item/folder to an existing archive, delete an item/folder from an existing archive, and extract any item from an existing archive.

System Requirements

Archive Toolbox 2.0 requires FileMaker Pro version 5.0 or later. The plug-in is compatible with FileMaker runtime solutions that are created with FileMaker Developer version 5.0 or later.

Archive Toolbox 2.0 is compatible with Mac OS 9, Mac OS X (Carbon), and Windows 98 and greater.
