Our fast-growing nonprofit is seeking a developer who has experience delivering high quality web and database business applications. Must have excellent knowledge of PHP and Filemaker. Experience with Mac OS and a content management system is critical.
This is not a full time job- it is a project ideal for a freelancer. We wish to serve Disease InfoSearch - http://www.geneticalliance.org/ws_display.asp?filter=infosearch_results&info_keyword=Breast+Cancer
using FM Pro - the program that we use in house to maintain the data. In addition, a number of other databases need to be developed and we wish to serve them on our website in the same manner.
You *MUST* be located in Washington DC and be able to perform much of this job in the office. Off-shore and long-distance candidates will not be considered. Position will require on-site work on a regular basis combined with the flexibility to work from home.
Along with your resume and salary requirements please provide a listing of projects you have completed. This position offers several development projects and an opportunity to provide technical counsel as well as development.
We wish to begin this project in September.
