Position: FileMaker/LAMP Developers
Company/Location: The Database Factory in Studio City, CA
Available: Immediate
The Database Factory uses FileMaker Pro, MySQL, XML, PHP and other related technologies to bring custom database and web solutions to businesses of all sizes and industries.
We have openings for full-time intermediate and advanced-level developers who want to work in a challenging, quick-paced and fun environment where the work they do improves how people do business. Our clients represent a variety of industries including entertainment, advertising, publishing, healthcare & non-profits.
Required Skills:
• Advanced proficiency and a minimum of 5 years experience in FileMaker Pro development, up to and including version 8.5
• XML, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, and/or Flash/ActionScript
• MySQL, other SQL
• Strong relational database design & development skills
• Excellent communications and organizational skills
• Experience with database server installation, configuration and maintenance
• Proficiency developing/working with OSX, Win & Linux
• Familiarity with server hardware, software & basic networking principles
• Ability to work independently or as a member of a collaborative team
Other Pluses (not required, but helpful)
• Certifications in FileMaker or other relevant technologies
• Project Management skills
• Graphic art skills, experience with graphics software (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years in a professional position
