Job Description:
Database developer needed to work with our growing team. Antidote Solutions is a FileMaker Solutions Alliance Partner level member. Candidate must be proficient in FileMaker Pro 8.5. Developer will be handling multiple projects with a wide variety of clients. Must be able to work independently and complete all objectives on tight timelines. Must work from our Garden City office and travel to local clients as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new, original database applications for clients using DBMS tools.
- Support existing application software.
- Write documentation and/or support the training effort for newly created/existing software.
- Work within the existing team of developers to improve product quality and speed development time.
Requirements:
- Database schema design using UML and IDEF1X diagramming.
- SQL knowledge desirable, but not required.
- Proficient with FileMaker Pro and Microsoft Office.
- Strong writing skills.
- Extremely organized, articulate, detail-oriented and comfortable working within a team structure.
- Excellent people skills and a positive attitude a must.
- FileMaker 8 Certification (must be obtained with 6 month of hire)
