Our advanced classes are arranged as two separate, two-day sessions: Relational Database Design and Scripting and Calculations. These two modules are scheduled back-to-back making it convenient to attend both and take advantage of a discounted tuition (details below). Completely rewritten for FileMaker Pro 10, with applicability to any version since 7.0, these classes will build on your current knowledge of FileMaker Pro and take you to a higher level.
In Relational Database Design, you'll learn how to build more robust, feature-rich databases by learning about relational theory, aggregate functions, complex relationships and referential integrity. We'll cover developing a thorough data model for an organization and its business logic and using FileMaker Pro's relationship graph to build solutions and intuitive interfaces. Plus, our expert developer-instructors will share tips and techniques that will shave hours off your development time.

Rewritten for FileMaker Pro 10, class materials are applicable to all versions of FileMaker from 7.0 on. If you're using FileMaker Pro 6.0 or earlier, learn how the new relational model in FileMaker can make your databases both more powerful and easier to maintain at the same time.
